As of yesterday Mungo and Jemima, a firm fashion-favourite store on Long Street, has opened its doors to Claremont’s stylistas.

Marian Park-Ross and Kirsty Banneman of Coppelia opened the initial shop in Town in 2008. The new addition can be found at 6 Cavendish Street in a quaint 1920s cottage.

The chain stocks its own designs as well as garments from a range of South Africa’s designers. These include: I Love Leroy, Margot Molyneux, Michelle Ludik and Take Care. Those looking to adorn their bodies in summertime beauty can enjoy trying on swimwear from Love Water Love. Kate & Allie, Missibaba and Skermunki accessories are also available.

Park-Ross and Banneman are excited to introduce some new designers in the Claremont branch; Shelly and Harry Jewellery, Silver Spoon (PE), Dear Dorothy Vintage and Fierce (Pretoria) will all be supplying Mungo and Jemima.

If you pop into the brand spanking new shop before us, let us know what it’s like!
