Following the success of her debut album Due Drop (which got her a BET Award nomination) and the recent announcement of her voicing the first black Powerpuff Girl, Toya Delazy continues to make us proud on her rise as one of the most versatile and exciting new talents out of Africa. This time, with the release of her ‘London Town’ music video, off her third album, Uncommodified.

Shot in the gritty streets of London, the video reached #3 on Musicweek.com’s Urban Club Chart in April 2018 and premiered on Rinse FM’s Lady Leshurr show. The song has since been getting airplay on Reprezent FM, Amazing Radio and Pulse 88. You go, (Powerpuff) Girl!

The 27-year-old Durbanite – who is now based in East London, UK – recruited Rymez on the production (SteffLon Don, Wiley, Lil Yacht …), wrapping the wordsmith’s signature ferocious and fearless flow in infectious afro-beat and deep bass sound.
