The award-winning Neighbourgoods market at the old biscuit mill in cape town is pleased to announce the opening of its JHB site.

In keeping with our commitment to urban regeneration and the goal to revive and reinvent the public market as a civic institution, we have chosen a venue in the heart of the city precinct of Braamfontein. The market will take place over two floors of 73 juta street, a johannesburg landmark building featuring a large-scale concrete faced by Edoardo Villa. The second floor will feature an extensive roof top area with views over Braamfontein and the heart of the inner city.

Market-goers can expect the same high standards of quality and experience that have become the benchmark of the Cape Town market.

Participating traders include: &Union Breweries, Origin Artisan Roasters and Nigiro Teas, Cheese Gourmet, Fine & Raw Chocolates, Petit Cochon, The Charcuterie & Richard Bosman Quality Cured Meats, Merchants & Makers, Buffalo Ridge Mozzarella and Lazanou Organic Vineyards.

The market will run every Saturday, come rain or shine, form 09:00 – 15:00. There will also be a calendar of special events throughout the year such as the We Love Real Beer Festival and forthcoming Barrel & Vine

Launches on 10 September!
