As ek kon (If I Could) is a piano-driven ballad that was written for Francois van Coke’s daughter, Alex Lila. She also stars in it! It is the fourth music video from Francois’ third solo album, Dagdrome in suburbia.
The song was co-written by platinum-writing partner, Karen Zoid. Fokofpolisiekar bandmate, Johnny de Ridder, plays the piano and arranged the string parts for this song.

The legendary bromance that was forged between Francois and rapper Riky Rick on The Voice SA 3 spilled over to collaborations on his new album and on stage at Francois van Coke & Vriende. Not Like Them is only English song on the album, Dagdrome in suburbia.
The music video for Not Like Them was launched at Levi’s Haus Africa in Johannesburg on 28th November. The Levi’s jacket worn by Francois in the music video was laser printed here.

This music video is a massive hit among Francois’ fans. Dagdrome in suburbia incites listeners like no other Francois van Coke track! The music video was filmed by Fokofpolisiekar bandmate, Jaco Snakehead Venter, at Liefde by die Dam in August this year.
