It is VAN PLETZEN’s mission to spread great vibes and it is exactly what they are doing with the launch of their debut album, Kak Lekke Vibe.
This Afrikaans electronic super-duo consists of Peach van Pletzen (Bittereinder, Yesterday’s Pupil and previously from Oorlog Frankenstein) and Matthieu Auriacombe a.k.a. NIK NAX (Hello Beautiful and Beach Party).
They had the whole of South Africa dancing with their singles Eiland Styl and Goud which was released in 2017.
Van Pletzen regularly uses satire and humour, but just because they are often funny, doesn’t mean that it is a joke. They deliver world-class production value and their live shows are truly something special.
“In a time when people have become overly serious and often passionately fight and debate issues and non-issues on social media, we rather offer an escape from it instead of participating in these “discussions”,” says Peach.
Instead they choose to make hilarious videos and share good times on social media this way.
Van Pletzen believes that people shouldn’t take themselves too seriously and that people should laugh more and remember to enjoy life. Follow them on social media to see what they are up to next!

The album is made up of 10 tracks and each of them is a little world on its own. The rapper, Early B, is the only collaborator on this album and features on four of the songs!
Die Beats Amazing with Early B is the first single. The music video will be released early April 2018!
