Kuli Roberts, Ross Learmonth, Cameron van den Burgh and The Naked DJ have been revealed  as the official judges of the Stella Artois Draught Master competition. These four A-listers will be judging the final of Stella Artois’ search for the South African Draught Master on the 6th of October in Johannesburg.

Ross Learmonth, the lead singer of South Africa’s top rock band, Prime Circle will be joining the enigmatic host of Headline on Mzansi Magic, Kuli Roberts and our very own Olympic swimmer, Cameron van den Burgh on the judging panel along with The Naked DJ from Metro FM – to decide who pours the best Stella Artois Draught in the country and who will take home the title of SA Draught Master.

The final will be hosted by the hilarious comedian, Chris Forrest, who is ready to kick the event into high gear. When the formalities are done and the winner is revealed, the finalists and guests will be treated to the celebration of the year when DJ Kent and The Naked DJ take to the decks for the official Stella Artois Draught Master after party. “I fashion myself as quite the Stella Artois-connoisseur,” said Ross Learmonth. “I look forward to seeing what our boys and girls can do.” Kuli Roberts immediately added that “The boys will be almost definitely be outpoured by the girls…you can bet on that…” Stella Artois requires strict adherence to a nine step pouring ritual, that when performed correctly, results in perfection.

South Africans who feel that they might have what it takes to master the nine steps, and become the South African Draught Master, can view the ritual and enter the competition online at www.stellasa.co.za. The competition closes on the 27th of September and the top 8 finalists will be announced on the 30th of September. This will be followed by the final showdown in front of Stella Artois’ esteemed panel of judges.

The South African champion will win the title of SA Draught Master, an exclusive Stella Artois hamper and an all-expenses paid trip to take part in the Stella Artois World Draught Master Championship in Buenos Aires, Argentina on the 26th of October 2011. According to international liquor law, the competition is open to anyone who is 21 years old or over.
