As Grietfest approaches we chat to some of the artists that will be bracing the stage and today we invite you to get to know more about Kyle Watson, who performs on the Red Bull Live Stage at 7pm.
What makes a great producer/DJ?
The most important thing is to be dynamic, adapt over time.
What was your first ever gig and how long have you been in the industry now?
It was a DJ competition at Partyhouse about 8 and a half years ago!
What has been your favourite show to date?
Probably Oppikoppi last year, the vibe was amazing.
So you’re playing Grietfest this year, on a scale of 1-5 how excited are you and who are you most looking forward to sharing the stage with at the event?
No doubt! Super excited to be playing on the Red Bull Stage, pretty keen to see TranceMicSoul.
How would you describe your style and who are some of your greatest musical influences?
House, but not the fluffy kind! I’m heavily inspired by The Dirtybird Crew.
