February 2012 marked a decade of Beartrap events Celestial Beings, our flagship event, was attended by a record number of psytrance lovers and outdoor festival enthusiasts.
Having hosted some of the most influential international producers like, Smashed, CPU, Menog, Gataka, Orca, Tryambaka, Sinful Reactions, and headlining our 10th anniversary, the larger than life duo, Dapanji, coupled with the phatest sound rig (Turbosound by RP Sound), a super slick production and what many have described as “the best party vibe” has led a somewhat cult-ish following for Beatrap.
As is tradition, the seasons line up will reflect a cross section of Cape Town’s finest local producers, showcase rising talent and one more host 5 of the hottest Psytrance DJanes this side of the globe!

The West Coast Pro boys are legends in the Electro Scene in Cape Town. There’s not much to be said about them, except that they know their shit!
