GoodLuck‘s meteoric rise to success has left a trail of accomplishments in their wake second to none.  The production duo, made up of Ben Peters and Juliet Harding, have been making music together since 2009 and have conquered nearly every stage in South Africa. This shouldn’t come as too big a surprise to their public, what with 147 shows in 2011 alone! Its no secret that these 2 are considered the hardest working team in the country and that, coupled with an album with 3 Number 1 hit singles and their 4th tipping the scale at the Number 2 spot, there’s no denying the enormity of such unparalleled success.

Their 3 MTN SAMA Nominations seem a just nod of approval from the burgeoning local music industry, with GoodLuck up for “Best Dance Album”, Best Duo or Group” and their ground breaking cross over hit “Taking it Easy” up for the fabled “Record of the Year”. This puts them in the same field as the incredible Zahara, and yet somehow it seems the rest of the nation is still to claim this group as their own local homegrown treasure.

Internationally GoodLuck have hit the ground running with a 3-month tour of The Netherlands, Spain and the UK scheduled for Summer 2012 which include performances at Festival Mundial and The Hague Festival.

Locally, their tracks have been eating up the radio frequencies and you would most certainly have found yourself tapping your toes one of their five singles in the passed 12 months. Between Taking it Easy, Hop on Hop off, London Sixteen66, Stars in my Eyes and Harlem, this new King and Queen of electronic music have surely found the recipe to an extremely addictive dance track.
