The organisers of Rocking the Daisies in collaboration with Converse decided to sow the daisy seeds, as a teaser before Rocking the Daisies event in October. Warthogs farm, a beautiful setting in Magaliesberg, played host to the first ever Sowing the Seeds in this part of the country.

This pilot two-day festival on the weekend showed the Johannesburg crowd that top South African music and eager festival-goers equals a recipe for success. On Friday, Sowing the Seeds was the hot topic on all networks and managed to trend on Twitter, being labeled one of the most talked about topics in South Africa.

No one was disappointed with Saturdays line-up which included Desmond and the Tutus, Tidal Waves, Jeremy Loops, Shadowclub and ending the night off with Goldfish and PH fat. Eleven bands played throughout the main stage and then party people headed to the Bush Boma for some incredible DJ’s.

The organisers, Seed Experiences hope to grow the market in Gauteng and bring world-class events, like Rocking the Daises to music lovers. They would also like to thank the title sponsor, Converse and all other sponsors involved. Most importantly they would like to thank all the wonderful people, who brought a vibe to the festival and made it a success. See you all at Rocking the Daisies in October. PLAY HARD,
TREAD LIGHTLY.
