Being avid Gin lovers, we recently got to try Roku Gin, beautifully paired with Grapefruit tonic (it’s also good on its own, over ice, with a wedge of lemon or lime). The bottle is not only eye-catching and beautiful for a gift, it holds a delightfully tasting botanical gin inside it with cherry notes on the nose.

A complex, multi-layered flavour, featuring various botanicals, all seem to go together perfectly. It may have a traditional gin taste in the base, however there are Japanese botanical notes that lightly introduce themselves, including yuzu peel, sakura flower and geyokuro tea while crisp Japanese Sansho pepper brings a little spiciness to the finish.

In light of the season of giving, Roku Japanese Gin is furthering their age-old tradition of sharing with the launch of their limited edition festive gift packs – a delightful gift for any avid gin lover.

The gift packs come complete with a beautiful bottle of Roku Gin – a signature of Japanese craftsmanship – accompanied by two ceramic cups, each etched with the Roku logo, precisely packed in a blush, cherry blossom embellished box, which will be sure to hold its own under the tree.

Recommended retail price of R299.00 and sold  in major retailers nationally; Makro, Pick n Pay, Checkers, and selected TOPS at Spar.
