ARE YOU MZANZI’S COOLEST RUNNING CREW?

Show off your Run Crew and stand to win with Under Armour.

With running becoming part of the ‘daily bread’ among fitness aficionados, Apollo Brands, the official distributor of Under Armour in South Africa has put out a call to find South Africa’s run crew with the most swag and spirit.

Whether your crew runs for fun, before brunch on a weekend to reach your first 5km, or training for a half marathon- Under Armour want the run crews of SA to show them what makes their crew special by showing off their spirit and unity.

Under Armour is inviting crews to register at www.runcrews.co.za and compete against other crews during the month of November to claim the Mzanzi Coolest Crew title.

What makes a crew Mzanzi Cool?

It’s the beat that forms the life-blood, it’s the racket that transpires from the route. It’s the grit that is the ultimate glory.  It’s the diversity. It’s the solidarity. It’s the togetherness, it’s the multitude, running as one.

What’s in it for the crew?

Each member of the winning Run Crew will be kitted in UA Run Gear including a pair of the new Bandit 3, winner of the Runners World’s Best Run Shoe of 2017 award.

How to enter?

Interested crews can now register their team on www.runcrews.co.za. Registered crews must have of a minimum of 5 members and a maximum of 12. Crews must follow the prompts to register and download the Map My Run app to compete. Then, get running. The more they run and the more they share to social media from the Map My Run App, the higher the chances of winning.

The campaign is timed for the release of the internationally acclaimed UA Charged Bandit 3 running shoe, which launches in their V&A, Menlyn, Mall of Africa and Sandton stores as well as Totalsports, Sportsmans Warehouse and selected independent stores nationwide on 1 November 2017.
